The information about the so-called “wood wide web” proves that we must seriously reconsider how we interact with both plants and the soil in which they grow as we plan the future of agriculture and wood production.

  1. I am sure the book is interesting. Since John passed away, I used my time and energy clearing the jungle surrounding the boat house. The trees are covered by parasite plants, vines, dead anything and have lost their dignity. I am restoring that, cleaning as much parasite plants as I can and burn them in barrels so I don’t destroy the mycelium, cleaning the bark…it is a long process but I am sure the trees are pleased. This is what is important.

    1. Yes! Great book, but I found parts very difficult to read… I’m not good with graphic human violence these days. Hidden Life is a gentler presentation of the science and more comprehensive. I recommend both!
